Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Oktobre?
Oktobre is located at 25 rue des Grands Augustins, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris — a few steps from Odéon and the Latin Quarter.
What kind of cuisine?
A modern French cuisine d'auteur, rooted in classical foundations and seasonal produce from small artisanal growers. Chef Martin Maumet's signature lies in a patient mastery of sauces, jus and condiments — he likes to call himself a « sauce obsessive ». Yuzu kosho, harissa, 'nduja, gochujang, miso, mostarda: he draws from condiments around the world to bring character to resolutely French dishes. Gault&Millau lists Oktobre under « cuisine d'auteur ».
